Rather square-headed wolves, one has to admit. MSPaint has not been kind to these creatures.
The scene in this particular page is as confusing as it is dramatic; two wolves seem to be rolling around in a non-specific brown environment until one bites the other and feasts on the delicious raspberry sauce inside. A jumble of multicoloured faceless wolf-puppies seem to be present also, as well as a dead (or unconscious) grey wolf who is referred to as "Moonwish".
If one was to pick bones with this comic the naming process would definitely be something to bring attention to. Moonwish? Moondust? Apparently the baby wolves' names are just as majestic also. Blacksoul? Lightstep? It's like the artist thought up a lot of words that sounded vaguely magical and dramatic and slapped them together. You never find a comic where the wolves have normal names. Except Sawdust - that sounds less majestic and more like what you'd name a pet guinea pig.
In fact, while we're picking the bones apart like the pack of hungry multicoloured mspaint wolves we are, why does every single dramatic wolf comic have a showdown in a cave where the good wolf has to protect puppies from the bad wolf? It's like the wolf comic equivalent of a Wilhelm scream.
